Finding Happiness: Living The Truth #13

Apr 15, 2022

This week we are exploring a topic that is close to all of our hearts. When do we feel happy? When we feel happy, does it last or is it very fleeting? What happens when we try to make it last? The happiness that is found in objects – by getting what we want – never lasts. And, we suffer when it is gone or the thrill is gone. Even when it is there, there is an underlying tension in the knowledge that it will pass. When the truth is realized there is an uncaused and permanent happiness. It is a happiness that doesn’t arise and fall away based on circumstances. When we drop our struggle with life, a deep sense of peace and contentment become our default state of being. I look forward to seeing you all on Thursday at 7 pm EST. Details at www.payattention.ca
