Sh*t Warriors: Facing Trauma and Anxiety Consciously

Sometimes you just feel like shit. This talk explores how to feel like shit consciously. We will discover together how to fearlessly deal with the big difficulties in life and see them as sacred — as gateways to awakening. The talk will draw from the poems of Jeff Foster to draw out how we can listen and honour our fears, difficult emotions, shame and sadness – how we can say, “I still have fear (etc.), but fear does not have me”. The collective anxiety of COVID, our trauma and general Dukkha can be seen not as darkness, but as blazing light that can be turned toward with unshakable presence.
